After completing her 1986 Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from The University of Akron; Julia went on to obtain her Juris Doctor in 1989 from The Ohio State University College of Law. While obtaining her law degree Julia completed a Comparative Legal Studies course at Oxford University in England in 1987. She began her career in 1989 in the litigation section at the firm of Amer Cunningham Brennan in Akron Ohio. After several years she began her own private practice where she has handled Adoption matters, Probate, Estate Planning, Real Estate Transactions including Title Insurance, and Real Property Matters.
Julia has over 35 years of experience in the area of adoption, which includes:

Representation of birthmothers
Guardianships
Step-parent adoptions
Interstate and International Finalizations
Adoption and custody litigation
